A beach holiday also works far away from the sea - the Walchsee is the perfect proof. With water temperatures of up to 26 °C, it is the warmest bathing lake in Tyrol during the summer months. The
lake is privately owned and convinces with its excellent water quality as well as its well-maintained facilities and walking paths.
For children there is a large water trampoline and an "Iceberg" fortified in the lake. And when the little ones are out and about on the playground, adults can enjoy a cup of coffee in the nearby café "See la Vie" and let their eyes wander over the lake.
The bathing area on the eastern shore scores with spacious sunbathing areas, a beach volleyball court and a beach bar. The Wibit Aqua Funpark offers a whole range of activities around the water with a boulder wall, trampoline, slides and blobbing facility, with which nobody gets bored on a family holiday.
You will also find further bathing places on the lake promenade, on the bathing meadow south, at the lido and at the Seemühle. Here you can see the entrance fees for the different bathing places around the Walchsee. Boats and stand-up paddles can be rented for a fee. Parking is available at every bathing place.

Water ski enthusiasts will also get their money's worth at Walchsee! Both experts and beginners are very welcome at the water sports centre; trial courses can even be booked at a reduced price with the Kaiserwinkl Card.
In Kössen, only 13 minutes away by car, the heated forest swimming pool with its swimming and adventure pool, slides, playground equipment, sunbathing lawns and its own beach volleyball court is an attractive attraction. The outdoor pool is open daily from 12.5. to 9.9. from 9 am to 7 pm.
